After yesterday’s terrible day where it hardly got light with rain too :( we had wall to wall sunshine :) With Mag not 100% fit we decided on a shorter bike ride. Heading down to the prom we feed the gulls our chicken bones which they love – there is nothing like watching a leg bone being swallowed whole! And there was a gull frenzy for a few minutes:) With next to no wind and sunny it was lovely to be by the sea as we biked along the prom to Landguard. The tide was high and whizzing out so we sat and watched for a while.
Then back all the way along the prom to Jacobs ladder where Mag turned back while I continued onto the Ferry. I had a look in the boatyard and spotted several Brent geese playing in the mud:) then back to Ferry Road to The Grove where the fairy tree had been given a Christmas makeover.
So a nice 12 mile ride in the mild winter sunshine.
